Over 40 years in the making, and it's finally here! Spinal Tap II is coming!
In the history of cinema there may be no other film that has been called on by fans worldwide wanting a sequel than Spinal Tap! The long-awaited sequel to the 1984's mockumentary is set for release (While pretty much all of the original cast is still alive) on September 12th. The new trailer is out, as David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) are all back, along with fellow legends Paul McCartney and Elton John. Paul Shaffer and Fran Drescher are also bringing back their roles along with one or more drummers who may meet their demise.
"Some big music star, while screwing around at a sound check, is filmed on an iPhone singing a Tap song," said Rob Reiner. "and it goes wild on social media."
