Many music greats came out to help LA at FireAid, but one of the highlight of the night was Nirvana reuniting to perform four of their classics!
This marked Dave Grohl’s return to the stage following his public acknowledgement that he fathered a child from an affair.
St. Vincent, joined Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear through a rendition of “Breed,” then Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, came on to perform “School,” third up was Joan Jett, who tore through “Territorial Pissings,” then Nirvana brought the house down, when Dave’s 18 year-old daughter took the mic for “All Apologies,” ending with Violet and Dave sharing the song’s chorus.
A great night for a great cause.
