Oasis Reunion Isn't Just A Tour

Unless you’ve gone off the grid, there’s no way you haven’t heard about the comeback of Oasis!

The brothers Gallagher have come back together for a series of concerts in the UK and the US, just in time for the 30th anniversary of '(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?', and the band is releasing new deluxe albums on October 3rd. Unplugged versions of ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Morning Glory’, ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’ will be added to one of the most influential albums of the 90’s. The news came with a video for ‘Acquiesce’, that Oasis put on their YouTube channel ahead of their tour debut in Cardiff, Wales.

adidas Originals joined forces with Oasis to celebrate their return with “Original Forever, which is more than a campaign. It’s a nod to a moment, a movement and a time that defined it all.” adidas Originals stated. “With the return of the band for Live 25’, the collaboration brings a new era of looks into the now, reworking era-defining silhouettes with a modern edge. From Firebird tracksuits to classic jerseys and jackets, the Live 25’ collection honors the past while living in the present.”

The brand released a video featuring the song “Live Forever” to promote the collab, as the band is coming to North America in 2025. They announced new concert dates, which will begin August 24th in Toronto and conclude September 12th in Mexico City.

Oasis will hit Chicago, New York and L.A., with Cage the Elephant!

Oasis' 2025 Summer tour, came with a lead up of singles to the Deluxe Edition of Definitely Maybe, including a release of "Cigarettes & Alcohol".

When it came out Definitely Maybe was the fastest-ever selling debut in the U.K. making Oasis a cultural phenomenon, with the classic singles Supersonic, Live Forever and Cigarettes & Alcohol. The album sold over 6.9 million copies, and is the second-most streamed album of the ’90s, behind (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.

The Deluxe Edition features the unreleased recording sessions from Monnow Valley, with outtakes from Sawmills Studios and a demo of Sad Song featuring Liam Gallagher.

The Gallagher brothers buried the hatchet to will play 14 shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

"The guns have fallen silent," The Brothers have said. "The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

The news came after a video teaser came out which fans thought was just going to be a deluxe edition box set, instead it brings an end to 15 years of bickering.

Ahead of the release of the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe, Oasis shared a previously unheard version of "Up in the Sky."

Another new mix by Noel Gallagher, "Up in the Sky (Monnow Valley Version)" is a scrapped studio session of the song recorded at Monnow Valley Studio in Monmouth, Wales.

The Deluxe edition of ‘Definitely Maybe’, contained recordings from the abandoned session at Monnow Valley Studios, and outtakes from the recording session at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall, which has been mixed for the first time by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho.

‘Columbia’ was the first Oasis song to be written, and was released as a white-label 12” vinyl.

“The Monnow Valley recordings and Sawmill outtakes, now unearthed for the first time, offer a new and compelling understanding of the process that led to the finished article. With its raw edges and restless energy, ‘Definitely Maybe’ always sounded like an album that had arrived fully formed – however the newly revealed versions provide fans with a fascinating new insight into the album; demonstrating the self-belief that drove the early years of Oasis and the determination it took to create their debut.”
