It seems that Extreme is finally wrapping up their promotion of their album “Six”, as the band has released the video for the song "Here's To The Losers".
If it seems like the album’s been around for awhile, that’s because "Six" was released in June 2023, and "Here's To The Losers" completes the plan to create 12 videos for the songs from "Six", which also serves as a "thank you" gift to the fans.
"It's as close to an anthem as we'll get. It just made sense to use this as the closing song on the album." Gary Cherone explained.
Extreme dropped the video for "Small Town Beautiful", as the video explores the beauty in the small things,
"'Small Town Beautiful'... is a beauty that is simple, kind and caring. You can see it in her smile, gentle, warm, pure, familiar. The girl next door from a small community, a small town that no matter where she will journey to, a big city or even off to serve... There is an aura, a glow around her...her small town comes with her wherever she goes and whomever she touches." Nuno Bettencourt said.
‘Save Me’ was directed by Simplexity Pictures who made all of the videos off the album.
“It was important to shoot like this to create a lack of oxygen in black void as if “we” are the voices in your heads… in our own heads, to visually put across the psychological battle of whispers and screams we have all dealt with in coping with life’s challenges” says Nuno Bettencourt. “… the viewer sometimes can’t tell where one face ends and the other begins. Like we are small pieces of a human jigsaw puzzle… with one rule… that we will never see the full finished puzzle.”
""Beautiful Girls" was one of the earliest videos from the album.
"Today we celebrate ALL the beautiful girls across the world with our new video. Beautiful girls come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds and this one is for YOU!" the band said in a statement.
