Mark Rober is a NASA engineer-turned-YouTube juggernaut whose videos range from building the world's largest Super Soaker, to the annual porch-pirate glitter-bomb holiday extravaganza.
According to Rober, tossing the coin in a specific way causes it to rotate on its axis in such a way that the side it is flipped up with never rotates over during its flight. Thus if you catch the coin, it will be caught with the same face up as when you tossed it.
