True crime has been taken the world by storm in the last few years, every podcast and streaming platform touting their own incredibly bone-chilling murder mysteries in gruesome detail. There is yet another docuseries, titled The Worst Roommate Ever, is coming to Netflix on March 1st.
This series is particularly interesting to those of us in the Sacramento, as it features Dorthea Puente as one of the four featured "roommates".
These stories revolve around, as Netflix describes it:
"The Worst Roommate Ever highlights four harrowing tales of seemingly harmless roommates turning into real-life nightmares for their unsuspecting victims when their malevolent and sometimes violent intentions are revealed."
And Puente fits that bill, with how she was so seemingly harmless... yet drugged her tenants, killed them and cashed their Social Security checks.
That house on F street is undoubtedly haunted.
