Japan is at it again. A.L.I. Technologies has created the XTurismo Limited Edition, a flying bike:
The XTurismo Limited Edition is made of carbon fiber, with an automatic control unit that features Renesas RH-850 microcontrollers; all designed for safe flying.
Yes.
FLYING.
It is a prototype, but the spec sheet boasts a top speed of 50 mph, a maximum hover height of eight feet and a 40-minute charge range. There are only 200 units being produced and they are priced at (a meager) $777,000 each.
The reason A.L.I. Technologies created the XTurismo Limited Edition:
“Our company is working to achieve an air-mobility society in which traffic accidents never happen."
