Pop-Tarts Profits, Patriotic Snacks & Stevie Still Slaying

If you missed today’s show, we covered a little bit of everything — from red, white, and blue snacks to resale chaos, classic rock legends, and why your workout playlist actually matters. Here’s a rundown of what we talked about.

America Turns 250 — and the Food Brands Are Ready 🇺🇸

With America’s 250th anniversary coming up this summer, brands are rolling out some seriously patriotic treats:

  • Birthday Cake Cheerios are hitting shelves in red, white, and blue boxes.
  • Coca-Cola is releasing special mini cans with designs representing every state.
  • Mountain Dew is temporarily getting a name change to “American Dew.”
  • Oreo teamed up with Popsicle for a Firecracker Pop cookie — blue raspberry and cherry-flavored cream sandwiched between two cookies. Very summer. Very festive.

Apparently, nothing says America like limited-edition snacks.

Stanley Cups? Pokémon Pop-Tarts Are the New Gold

Forget tumblers — today’s hot resale item is Pokémon Pop-Tarts. The $3 boxes sold at Target are being flipped online for as much as $25.

Resellers are cashing in big time, proving once again that nostalgia + limited availability = chaos.

Wedding Gifts Are Out — Cash Is In 💸

Thinking of attending a wedding soon? You’re not alone if you’re ditching the gift registry.

According to Good Housekeeping, about 80% of couples already live together, so they don’t need more stuff. What they do need is cash — for a down payment, honeymoon, or meaningful experiences like travel.

Practical? Absolutely. Romantic? Depends how pretty the card is.

Your Favorite Music Can Boost Your Workout

If you need one more excuse to crank your jams at the gym, here it is:

A new study says listening to music you actually like can improve workout performance by up to 20%. Familiar songs distract from discomfort and make effort feel easier.

That totally tracks for me — how about you?

Stevie Nicks & Sabrina Carpenter Surprise Everyone

One of the coolest moments of the week happened at the Met Gala, where Stevie Nicks and Sabrina Carpenter surprised the room with a duet of “Landslide.”

And yes — Stevie still sounds amazing and looks incredible. Legend status confirmed (again).

Eagles Extend Their Sphere Residency 🦅

More good news for classic rock fans: The Eagles are adding six additional shows to their Las Vegas Sphere residency.

New dates run September 18–28, giving fans another chance to see the band in one of the most jaw-dropping venues on the planet.

Tater Tots Get a Fun Makeover 🦖⭐

Ore-Ida is shaking things up for the first time in nearly 20 years with Dinosaur- and Star-shaped Tater Tots.

  • Dino Tots bring prehistoric fun to mealtime
  • Star Tots launch in special America 250 packaging
  • Both offer the same crispy-outside, fluffy-inside goodness and are permanent additions to the lineup. Nostalgic and tasty.

“Legally Blonde” Gets a Prequel

Prime Video dropped a teaser for “Elle,” a prequel series centered on a high school-aged Elle Woods before the events of Legally Blonde.

The show premieres July 1 and is already renewed for Season 2. Lexi Minetree stars as Elle, with June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott playing her parents.
