All U.S. Adults Eligible For COVID Vaccine Today

Anyone 16 and older who wants a COVID shot is eligible as of today.

Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont were the last states to meet President Biden's deadline - all others had already opened vaccinations. About a third of adults are now fully protected against coronavirus, while half are waiting for their second shot. The U.S. is now reported to have one of the highest vaccination rates in the world.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is expected to resume after a CDC meeting on Friday. Following reported blood clot symptom cases for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a representative claimed that all vaccines have shown blood clot symptoms - this was proven to be false later in the week.
