Just got back to my home studio from donating blood for the very first time at today's iHeartMedia Sacramento Blood Drive presented by the California State Fair and Vitalant at Cal Expo!
It was my very first time donating blood, so I was a little nervous. But when they told me that my donation will help 3 other people and when it was super easy to do, I think I'll be doing this again. I felt very safe during the process (much social distancing going on throughout the experience) and I'll soon find out my COVID-19 antibody status. Antibody tests are used to tell if I've had a past infection with SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
