May 16 (UPI) -- A freeway traveler in Houston captured video of a young woman slowing traffic by walking down the middle of the roadway while talking on her phone.
Facebook user Jefe De Jefes posted a video to the social media site Monday showing the unidentified girl or young woman walking against traffic between two lanes of Interstate 45 in Houston.
The girl, clad in a tank top, shorts, and boots, is seen talking on her cellphone and walking along the white line separating two lanes.
Get off the freeway!" a man's voice yells, causing the woman to briefly look back in surprise.
The reasons for the woman's freeway walk were unclear. It was not known Tuesday whether Houston police were investigating the video.
