Do you like voting or do you find it inconvenient? For some, casting a vote means hours in line; for others, it's driving 45+ minutes to their polling place; for some, it's as easy as dropping their ballot off in the mail. This has lead some to call for making Election Day a holiday. But election administrative officials from the Open Source Election Technology Institute and the Center for Election Innovation & Research are saying this is unnecessary, that :
"We already know how to make voting convenient to voters -- that's by offering them options, like making an election season rather than election day. And we actually have more options than ever before."
What do you think? Do we need a holiday to cast our votes?
