NUNS EMBEZZLE $500K AND USE THE MONEY TO GAMBLE

Two nuns in Southern California are accused of embezzling $500,000 from their school and allegedly used the embezzled money to gamble at casinos, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles has said.

Sisters Mary Margaret Kreuper and Lana Chang allegedly took tuition, school fees, and donations from St. James Catholic School in the Southern California city of Torrance.

The nuns, who many say are best buds, had been "involved in the personal use of a substantial amount" of school funds Monsignor Michael Meyers, pastor for the school, told parents in a letter seen by ABC News.

Official believe that the two nuns could have possibly embezzled even more than $500,000.
