2018 FUTURE FORD ECOSPORT SES REVIEW

I’ll keep this short and sweet - just like our 2018 Ford EcoSport SES from Future Ford.

In the SES you get the 2.0L Ti VCT  I-4 with 166HP. That’s not a bunch of horsepower but that’s the point. The car weighs 3,366 lbs, which isn’t light, but the weight gives you some assurance and stability. If you use the gas the car moves just fine. Our model MPG is 23/29. Other EcoSports do better with 27/29. The interior for a vehicle in this class and price range is really good; a mix of leather and accents, everything flows and feels/looks quality. Where this car, and all other Ford’s shine, where you might not expect - the electronics and entertainment department. If you’ve shopped and touched AND USED other systems like I have, you’ll know Ford is one of the best, if not the best. Sync 3, Sync Connect - WiFi Hotspot, with voice and touch Nav on an 8” dash mount LCD screen. It’s super easy to use, to see, and is extremely accurate with commands.

You’ll also notice the rake, the rear is elevated because we had the available Intelligent 4-wheel drive and a 2,000 lb. tow capacity.

If you want 4 doors, 4-wheel, and affordable-practical-economy for the snow, the student, the family, or a great city parker/commuter, the EcoSport deserves a test drive. And don’t be afraid to give it gas (acceleration) we did!!!
