PG&E says it could start turning off power as soon as Monday in 17 counties in California.
Strong winds are expected from Monday night through midday Wednesday.
PG&E said in a release, "PG&E in-house meteorologists as well as its Wildfire Safety Operation Center and Emergency Operation Center will continue to monitor conditions closely, and additional customer notifications will be shared over the next few days."
103,000 customers could be affected in these counties:
Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Humboldt, Kern, Lake, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Sonoma, Tehama, Tuolumne and Yuba.
