I recently interviewed George Thorogood, to promote his latest album, which is an interesting one called Party of One. Yes, he's solo for the first time, without the Destroyers. Just him on a lot of tracks, doing some fine blues covers.
Also, we talked about his tour with ZZ Top (in one of my dumber questions that I left in the interview. See question 2). One of those things where you know the answer, but hope for a great story.
I also talked to Thorogood about the musicians who have died over the last few years, and how it has affected his own life. Also, what made him gravitate towards the blues, and more. He seems to disagree on my thoughts on that, as well as Bruce Springsteen's.
