3 brands of dog chews recalled due to sick pets

A pet company based out of Atlanta has issued a recall for three of their brands of rawhide dog chews. There have been reports of diarrhea and vomiting.

If you have American Beefhide, Digest-eeze or Healthy Hide, your dog may be in danger. Also, all three contain a chemical that hasn't been approved by the FDA. There's also a foul odor from the package.

Only products with lot codes listed on the back of the package that start with AH, AV, A, AI, AO, or AB and which list expiration dates from June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020 are affected.

Toss them in the trash or you can return the chews to United Pet Group or the retailer where they were purchased for a refund.
