Family Drives From Canada To Rescue Dog in Sacramento

posted by Derek Moore -

This family drove 16 hours to adopt a dog from our crowded shelter! Joyce had been at the shelter for almost two months, sadly watching people pass her by for other dogs. But when this family heard we were full, they drove all the way from British Columbia, Canada to save a life. And the lucky dog they rescued was Joyce, who is a perfect fit for them. Adoptions are free the whole month of June to help as many pets as possible find their happy ever after! #lovecanada

A Canadian family drove 16 hours to rescue Joyce at the Front Street Animal Shelter. The recent "no fees in June" offer is what helped the family make the decision, and possibly save Joyce's life. Love it!
