- Ivy is a 9 year old pit bull mix, but don’t let her age fool you! Her nickname is Piglet because she makes the cutest pig noises when you pet her. She is THE sweetest pup you will ever meet. She loves her humans and is happiest by your side getting all the pats. When we have been gone at work she patiently waits for our return in her bed. She is house and potty trained. She sleeps well through the night in her own bed. She enjoys a short daily walk, she has some arthritis in her back legs but that does not seem to stop her from having a good playful time. She has a very soft mouth when accepting treats. She does well in the car and out in public. She enjoyed her trip to the brewery and accepted treats from the nice brewer. We have not tried her with other dogs, but when walking her she does not get too excitable. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house so she can get all the loves she deserves. We have not tried her around children, so maybe children over 10 would be best. Whoever adopts her is winning the doggie jackpot!
