Hooters Shows Off New Uniform, Then Pulls Them After Employee Outcry

Hooters recently released a new uniform, as you can see below:

And some employees were less than thrilled:

After the above TikToks went viral, many of the employees agreeing that the new "shorts" are sexist and "not what they signed up for when first taking the job". Hooters decided to stop the uniform roll-out and released the following statement:

"As we continue to listen and update the image of the Hooters Girls, we are clarifying that they have the option to choose from traditional uniforms or the new ones. They can determine which style of shorts best fits their body style and personal image."

Their goal is to have a more accommodating and inclusive image policy (which extends to inclusivity of women with tattoos, jewelry, nails and hairstyles).
