The job entails watching the entire The Simpsons catalog (including The Simpsons Movie) for 35 hours per week for eight weeks straight. The hours are flexible, the job is remote (laptop or TV needed) and requires strong writing skills.
Their reason?
"It's a well-known phenomenon that The Simpsons has predicted major life events, and in our industry we too like to predict what the future has in store for us. The Simpsons Series Analyst will get paid to note down standout events from the show, to help us predict the probability of each one happening."
They are, of course, referring to Donald Trump becoming President, Richard Branson's space flight and the discovery of the Higgs boson equation.
All that the analyst has to do while watching each episode is take notes on stand out storylines. These notes will then be compiled into a list of future predictions, with an accompanying probability of it happening.
