In Beppu, Japan, police have accused 56 year old Tetsuo Urata of stealing 730 pieces of women's underwear from coin laundries after being accused by a 21-year-old college student. The police stated:
They had not confiscated such a large number of panties in years.
After knocking on Urata's door, they found the underwear stashed in his apartment. Urata was arrested and admitted that he stole the underwear. The Beppu city police plan will continue to investigate.
