Following Kevin Costner's return to the Field of Dreams filming location in Dyersville, IA, and the subsequent MLB game between the Yankees and White Socks, was a smashing success. The game was the most watched regular season game in 16 years.
MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said:
"We will be back. It's pretty clear we're going to be back next year."
And they will be. The Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds will play the Field of Dreams on August 11th, 2022.
