CNN Fires Three Employees For Returning To Work Unvaccinated

Three unvaccinated employees returned to work and CNN has fired them. CNN's stance on the COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory if employees work in the office or out in the field and anywhere they come in contact with other employees. CNN's chief Jeff Zucker had this to say:

“Let me be clear – we have a zero tolerance policy on this.”

The majority of CNN offices are open on what is called a voluntary basis, meaning many employees still work from home. Approximately 1/3 of their employees have returned to work. Currently, proof of vaccination for CNN employees is based upon the honor system, though Zucker has floated the idea of changing it within the next few weeks.
