High Potency Marijuana Linked To Psychotic Episodes

Once upon a time in Boulder, CO., Bo Gribbon (17) started vomiting and screaming couldn't stop. After throwing up multiple times in one hour, his mom finally drove him to the hospital. Over the course of nine months, Gribbon visited the emergency room 11 times, each time due to excessive and severe vomiting and screaming that lasted hours.

According to Gribbon:

“It felt like Edwards Scissorhands was trying to grab my intestines and pull them out.”

The doctors that saw him over the course of those 11 months cited "chronic cannabis use" as the cause of his scromiting (screaming-vomiting). At first, he didn't believe it, but ultimately decided to stop smoking pot, which finally convinced him that Mary Jane was the cause of his misery. Many health officials caution young adults and teenagers against the use of cannabis as it cause cause psychiatric issues, violent episodes and scromiting, like Gribbon experienced.
