In an effort to the push to vaccinate for Covid-19, Washington state has announced that it will temporarily allow (state-licensed) cannabis retailers to give a "joint for a jab". Yes, residents of Washington state who receive their first or second dose of the vaccine can get free cannabis.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has also announced other incentives: lottery prizes, sports tickets and game systems. 58% of Washington's population has received one dose and 49% is fully vaccinated; which has lead to the state's push to get more vaccinations. The Joints for Jabs campaign runs June 7th through July 12th.

Other states are doing the same. Michigan has “Pot For Shots” and Arizona has "Snax For Vaxx" (edibles).
