Food samples are back at Costco starting this week!!!
Costco has announced they're beginning a "a phased return to full sampling" after nearly 14 months of samples being gone. Thanks Corona... Roughly 170 US locations plan to return with food samples starting this week and the remaining of the 560 locations should have samples back by the end of June. Additional safety measures will be taken, such as as food/drink prepared behind plexiglass, made in smaller batches and distributed to customers one at a time.
Additionally, food court seating will return with roughly half the seating capacity due to more physical separation and tables seating four instead of 6-8 people.
Costco will also be adding NEW AND IMPROVED churros to the food court menu, as well as ice cream (which will replace frozen yogurt), both starting July 4th.
