With states beginning to re-open and lift COVID-19 restrictions, as well as the normal "summer" gas prices starting to take hold; the country is starting to see the highest prices since 2019. The current national average is currently $2.87 per gallon.
A cute little Floridian, Malaisha Rayner stated:
"If it hits $3, I'm parking this car."
$3 per gallon? Seriously adorable.
Utah is up $0.25 per gallon.
Idaho and Missouri are up $0.17 per gallon.
One of the worst is likely Texas, which is particularly brutal as the price hike if following and fueled by the severe weather the state just experienced.
And California is averaging $3.85/gallon.
Again Florida, you're adorable.
