Pasco County Fire Rescue Station 21 stumbled upon kids holding an injured bald eagle. The eagle was underweight, wing wrapped in fishing line and a hook through its beak; sadly the line was preventing it from being able to eat. The Firefighters took the eagle to Owl's Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife for assistance.
The sanctuary was able to rescue the eagle from the fishing line, got him eating again and stabilized. After a week of care, the eagle was released back into the wild near where it was found!
