Hines applied for $13.5 million through the federal Paycheck Protection Program on behalf of his four companies... except he lied about the number of employees he had and amount of money he needed for pandemic paycheck relief. He ultimately received $3.9 million and within days of funds being dispersed, Hines WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THAT SEXY ASS LAMBO HURACAN (worth approx. $318,000)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully, he was arrested Friday and charged with three felonies:
- one count bank fraud
- one count false statements to a financial institution
- one count engaged in transactions in unlawful proceeds
According to a criminal affidavit:
“Collectively, Hines falsely claimed his companies paid millions of dollars in payroll in the first quarter of 2020. State and bank records, however, show little to no payroll expense during this period.”
He could see up to 70 years behind bars.
