Northern California Stores That Are Offering Special Hours For Seniors

Many stores are offering special hours for those who are more at-risk to the COVID-19 coronavirus. As of Thursday morning these stores include,

Safeway - Will be open 7a.m.-9a.m. for those at high risk or are seniors of the community.

Whole Foods - Stores are open to customers 60 and up from 8 to 9 a.m. each day.

Walmart - Beginning Tuesday, March 24, the first hour of every Tuesday will be available only to those at high risk.

Smart and Final - Will be open early to seniors and those who are 65+ from 7:30 to 8 a.m.

Dollar General - the first hour of each business day will be reserved for seniors and those who are at-risk.

Target will be taking part starting March 25, with senior shopping hours for the first hour of the business day every Wednesday.

Raleys is offering “Senior Essentials” bags for those at high risk which contain some dry goods and fresh goods in one bag for either $20 or $35. Available in store or for curbside pickup.

Store closing hours may vary as some locations are closing early to sanitize and stock properly.
