"Magic Happens", the new parade in Disneyland is an experience for everyone! From The Sword in the Stone to Moana, Magic Happens gives Disney goers, young and old, a moment of awe.
"You pick your favorite moment of magic, and we probably have it in the parade," said Kate Frankl with the Disneyland Resort.
The parade shows specific points in time that magic has happened throughout the history of Disney movies. Magic Happens looks and sounds different from any other Disneyland parade!
Art Director for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Kirstin Makela, gives Derek Moore the inside scoop on how Rise of the Resistance at Galaxy's Edge was created.
"We worked closely with our Lucas Film partners to make sure we are telling the story correctly," said Makela.
The Disneyland art team wanted to create an experience that would add up to all of the Star Wars fans' expectations. Rise of the Resistance was a five year creative process that built one of the most authentic Star Wars experiences! The ride takes you right into the thick of the action, taking you on an galactic battle against the First Order.
