If you thought these pies only existed in Sweeney Todd, you thought wrong! These artists have decided to create their very own "people pot pies."
I guess it's perfect timing since Halloween is right around the corner! Ashley Newman who is a special effects artist was the first to try her gory people looking pies.
Each is made out of skin-toned latex stretched over a foam base. You see the bruised eye sockets and the browning on the cheek bones and nostrils.
Originally, these were just for decoration! Each prop pie is sold with different facial features, a tongue, teeth and some hair.
They really do look like people's faces! Once these pies were posted up, people began to love them and cake artist Andrew Fuller received tags and emails about the cakes.
The only issue was that it's very hard to make edible versions of these pies due to size and proportions when you make them. Especially when it comes to crust.
Fuller says he gets creative with his pie fillings.
