Queen made an appearance last (Sunday) night on The Simpsons.In an episode titled "Go Big or Go Homer," Homer and his family recreate the band's 1985 performance at Live Aid in London.
This is not Queen's first inclusion on The Simpsons.
- Homer sang "We are the Champions" in Season Two after reeling in a big fish.
- In Season 10, a drunk Homer and his buddies sang "Champions" in the shower of their elementary school after winning a baseball game.
- And in Season 18, Homer, Lenny and Carl sang "We Will Rock You" in in "Please Homer, Don't Hammer 'Em."
The band has also been mentioned in other episodes. In Season 14, Homer tells"Weird Al" Yankovic to write a pizza-themed Queen parody called "Another One Bites the Crust." That same season, Queen's "You're My Best Friend" was played in the "Moe Baby Blues" episode.
