Game of Thrones final season has cost employers over $3 billion

The Game of Thrones final episode ever airs this Sunday (5/19), and 11 million Americans will skip work entirely on Monday.

27.2 million GOT watchers “will either miss work completely the next day, or arrive late, work remotely, be less productive than usual, or suffer some other impact on their work obligations come Monday.”

Since the premiere of the final season on April 14th, the loss of productivity has cost employers an estimated $3.3 billion in revenue, and it's about to get bigger.
