If You Want To Live Until You’re 90-Do This

Hate working out and love hitting happy hour? Your drinking habits may be elongating your life.

According to a long-term study done by University of California neurologist Claudia Kawas, having two glasses of wine or beer per day can make people 18 percent less likely to experience a premature death.

Kawas and her team began their research in 2003 and tracked subjects ranging in age from 90 to 99 trying to find what impact daily habits had on longevity.

While modest alcohol consumption fared well for participants, those who exercised 15 to 45 minutes a day only cut risk of premature death by 11 percent.

Other habits that the study found could effect lifespan included weight, having a hobby and drinking coffee.
