Big Day of Giving Is Happening All Day Today! Here's How You Can Help

It's become an annual tradition. A way for the River City to come together and support the non-profits who that mean something to us and a way to discover new ones!

The Sacramento Region Community Foundation's Big Day of Giving is a 24 hour online giving campaign from Midnight to Midnight on Thursday, May 7th at And in times like these, it's even more important to support nonprofits that provide essential services that our community needs. Many of them provide services our community needs during crises—and those we need to recover and feel like a vibrant, healthy community again, too.

Over 600 non-profits in our 4 county capital region are represented on the Big Day of Giving website, with information about their mission and their members so you can decide who to donate to.

Over the past 7 years, Big Day of Giving has raised $40 million for nonprofits. This effort has been all about bringing our community together for something positive. If you want to remember someone and the interests they had, donating to the non-profit of their choice is a great remembrance.
