Doritos Locos: 100 Mile, Multiple City Chase In Stolen Truck

34-year-old Joshua Karpe saw an idle Frito Lay truck in a gas station in Oklahoma City and decided to boost it, taking it on a 100 mile, multiple-city chase.

The chase was over an hour long and involved four different law enforcement agencies: the Oklahoma City Police Department, the Enid Police Department, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Garfield County Sheriff's Office.

Captain Jeff Spruill of the Oklahoma City Police Department had this to say:
"I would love to know the motivation of stealing a truck that's very, very easy to spot and doesn't go very fast. What do you think you're going to do with a truck like that?"

Karpe hit two different police vehicles before the police caught up with him. Karpe was eventually stopped and taken into custody.
