Hundreds of passengers and crew members on a plane on the tarmac at Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport made an emergency exit late Monday afternoon after a fire broke out.

The fire occurred on a baggage conveyor vehicle that was near the aircraft.

The plane, which had just landed from Casablanca, had about 250 passengers and eight crew members on board.

Everyone left the plane, most using the chutes for the evacuation. Several passengers were injured during the evacuation.
