All four professional basketball teams in California are partnering with local students on a new "healthy living campaign."

That includes the two teams in Northern California, the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors. The two teams hosted a meet-and-greet on Sunday with students from Sacramento Charter High School, McClatchy High School and Hiram Johnson High School.

The teams and the students are working with the California Endowment on the newly formed Active Alliance to measurably improve the health of the children in their communities through exercise, nutrition and education.

Among these projects will be Highway to Health community health fairs, community and school basketball court and playground renovations and basketball and dance clinics with the players and cheerleaders.
