A woman in her 20s was killed in a drunk driving accident late Monday night.

Sacramento Police units responded to a vehicle collision with injuries at Auburn Boulevard and the I-80 off ramp. It began when a Dodge Neon was involved in a hit and run on Madison Avenue.

The victims of that hit and run followed the Dodge to try to get the number on the license plate. At an intersection, the Dodge ran a red light and collided with a Toyota.

A female passenger in the Dodge, a female in her 20s, suffered major injuries and died at the scene.

The Dodge's driver was identified as 30-year-old Antonio Reddick, who police said was driving under the influence.
