The city of Roseville is set to start construction on a new roundabout at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Oak Street.

The $4 million project is meant to help revitalize the more historic section of town and ease heavy traffic conditions in the area.

Crews will break ground early next week and the work will last through the summer.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during construction but it will wrap up for the day before large events, like "Downtown Tuesday Nights."
