Finding fun ways to get active in Sacramento just got easier. Mayor Kevin Johnson has joined with Coca-Cola to unveil a grant to help bolster Sacramento's health and fitness initiatives. The grant is just under $200,000 from Coca Cola to be used by the City of Sacramento’s Department of Parks and Recreation and will help pay for programs and classes instructed by 14 military veterans at five recreation centers. Classes will range from walking workouts, gardening, dance, and exercise boot camps.
