A Sacramento man was found guilty of gunning down his wife when he discovered she was seeking a divorce.
A Sacramento jury convicted Daniel Weddle of first-degree murder in the death of his wife on December 1st, 2011.
Prosecutors say about six weeks before the shooting, Weddle moved out of the apartment he shared with his wife because she wanted to end the marriage.
On the day of the murder, he came back to the apartment.
When Weddle saw divorce paperwork his wife had been working on, he became enraged.
He got a handgun and using his wife's roommate as leverage, shot his wife six times, killing her.
He's set to be sentenced on December 20.
