A criminal investigation regarding the activities of disgraced former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner is now reportedly in the hands of a grand jury.  The "San Diego Union Tribune" reports several people have been subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury in two weeks, though its unclear what kind of charges the grand jury might be considering.

An investigation into Filner began back in July when the first of multiple women came forward with allegations of sexual harassment against the mayor.  Filner also was accused of shaking down developers and misusing a city-issued credit card before he resigned from office.
