September's employment numbers are rolling out a little late as a result of the government shutdown that came to an end this week.

The Labor Department says it will release the nation's unemployment figures on Tuesday. The employment report for October will also be later than usual, coming out on Nov. 8 instead of Nov. 1.

The last monthly report for August showed the economy added 169,000 non-farm jobs with the unemployment rate pretty much holding steady at around 7.3 percent.
