An Orange County judge has dismissed drug charges against the wife of state Treasurer Bill Lockyer.  Charges against Nadia Lockyer were dropped on Friday at the request of prosecutors. They included possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, being under the influence and child endangerment.

Nadia Lockyer, a former Bay Area supervisor, was arrested in 2012.  Authorities say she appeared to be high on methamphetamines and drugs were found in an Orange County home she was sharing with her 9-year-old son. Her husband filed divorce papers in 2012 but withdrew them last year, saying she'd made progress in rehab.

The Los Angeles Times says Lockyer has agreed to attend a drug diversion program.
