Gear up: one of the world's top cyclists is leading a charity ride through Amador County tomorrow.

Chris Horner, who at 42 recently became the oldest rider to win the Tour of Spain, will be leading a different kind of pack at the 4th Annual Clark's Corner Cycling Challenge in Ione.

"Yeah it should be a good time. Three different rides at different distances -- a 10, a 30, and a 50-miler -- so it's really opened up for everybody," Horner said.

And he means it, cycling enthusists or families with kids. Proceeds will benefit the Amador County Food Bank, a local Parkinson's foundation and World Bicycle Relief, which ships bikes to underprivelged areas. Horner is pretty aproachable and will be signing autographs. Get your tickets for the ride.
