California's government is losing the trust of the state's residents. The survey from Edelman Communications shows that only 28 percent of Californians trust the state government - that's half of what it was last year at 56 percent. Steve Telliano, the General Manager of Edelman Sacramento says they think government is corrupt or that government is not acting in the interest of American citizens.
Trust in the national level isn't faring much better...it only sits at 32 percent.
The survey also found that Californians are losing trust in business and industry sectors especially after the latest data breaches at retailers like Target.
