The old saying "As California Goes, So Goes The Nation" is holding true -- especially when it comes to Obamacare.

If the Affordable Care Act is going to work, allowing hundreds of thousands of people to sign up for low-cost, or even subsidized health insurance through competitive exchanges it's got to work in California.

The Golden State holds the enviable position of being the proving ground for Obamacare.

The glitches seen nationwide are also reflected in problems seen on the Covered California website.

And Governor Jerry Brown, a long-time proponent of Obamacare, is also aware problems are going to happen.

"We've got lots of problems, you know what, we might have some more," Brown said.

Brown says progress on the glitches is slow and steady.
